A great lunch on an awesome off day
Forgot to post this yesterday~ Slept early ^_^.
From what i can recall, i was super lazy and nearly called off this lunch appointment.
Well, I had lunch with Melissa Chen near the media hub at upper paya lebar, Kim Chuan area yesterday.
A treasured friend of mine who left PLMC in the past
and is now worshipping at City Harvest.
Somehow, no matter how rarely we get to meet in a year, we can connect straight away.
I'm sure some of you can understand what i mean!
I shared some of life's issues that are thrown at me right now and she shared her sentiments.
They were really great advice i must say. Not only that, she had 3 books for me.
Well, i've read 2 of the three but, nevertheless, it was really sweet of her to get books for me at
sucha short notice!
Well, then came her turn to share. Wow, there are so many people with so many issues of life right now
that i really feel that i'm truly not doing anything much to turn them all around.
I must say that God hasn't pointed me towards that direction but, if i had a choice and the ability to make an impact
in these areas, i would.
The lunch was shortlived as she had to return to office. So, i read the book on the way back in bus 62.
Good insights and great solutions for what i'm experiencing right now.
I must say that i'm still trying to apply them in areas of my life but, woohoo, easier said than done!
This is one day i really feel refreshed, rested and well-worked. (Not over-worked)
