Things to come and things that have come to pass...
The days have turned to weeks and months to years.
Time creeps by ever so slowly
I wish i was left in that dungeon of sand i survived not so long ago.
Create in me a new heart, O Lord
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast Your presence away from me!
Do not take Your Holy Spirit away from me!
Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation
And uphold me with Your generous Spirit.
Then will i teach transgressors Thy ways
And sinners shall be converted unto Thee.
What's to come, i do not know and right now, do not wanna know.
What has come to pass, i give You thanks for them all.
Let me have Your peace at all times.
Never let me stray too far from You.
I love You Father and You are more than sufficient for me!
I shall never be in want my Shepherd.
Lead me and guide me in Spirit and in Truth
In speech and in deed.
In love, faith and in purity.
On You shall i rest my dependence, my future and my everlasting dwelling in that which is to come.
You first loved me, with a love that's beyond comprehension.
What more can i do than to reciprocate Your love?
